On behalf of one of our clients, we conducted a market study of Foreign Tourists, with the aim of analyzing the demand for TOURIST TRANSPORT SERVICES in the city of Lima.
1.1. Commercial characteristics of the service
The service will offer to the customers quality in the attention, comfort, guarantee, and above all an excellent treatment on the part of the personnel of the agency, that helped the tourist to find what it looks for.
1.2. Main and secondary uses
The tourist transportation service will be provided every day of the week, including Sundays and holidays, from 9 to 5 p.m. since the different museums and historical centers of Lima attend the respective hours mentioned, and so that the tourist can observe the landscape of Lima without difficulty during the tours.
1.3. Substitute and complementary services:
It is important to mention that throughout Metropolitan Lima there are hotels from two stars to five stars, offering personalized attention to tourists, with services including (spa, gym, swimming pool, sauna, slot machines, night show), as well as establishments that offer a variety of dishes such as: poultry, restaurants, cevicherías, anti-cucherías, pizzerías among the most outstanding.
The agency will be located in the district of CERCADO de LIMA, this place is chosen for the dynamism of tourism as it is the historic center of Peru and Lima. In addition it is in a place where it is arrived quickly, and it has connections with all the districts of the capital, in which it is a question of security in the last years it has been improving thanks to an efficient handling of the municipality.
Analysis of Historical Demand.
The behavior of this item was observed over the years, discovering that since the reorganization of Metropolitan Lima (all districts including spas); that is, decreasing informality (ambulants and others).) and at the same time increasing the security, initiated by the Mayors Andrade and later followed by Castañeda Lossio, has increased the Tourist affluence, the tour both in the center of Lima and in the rest of Lima districts Respectively, increasing this way our potential consumers that in this case are the tourists that require the service of city tours or tourist transport.
3.2. Analysis of the Demand Function.

In order to be able to develop the present project, we assume that the demand is intimately linked to the rate of Tourist growth to Peru (7%), for which we assume the same as the rate of growth of the demand.
3.3. Study of Demand with secondary information.
For the study of our demand, we have decided to extract information from different state and private entities about the representative tourist influx of Metropolitan Lima and spas.
3.3.1. Objectives of the Compilation of Secondary Information according to the needs of the project.
In order to compile information about historical data of the Demand or the Offer, statistical data issued by the INEI, MINCETUR, Promperu or other institutions with the same purpose, statistical information on the subject or data of the companies of the category may be used. But this information is very general made by experts in the matter of projection, which will be used for the analysis and the projection of the potential demand. Whose objectives will be:
Knowing the potential market
To determine the amount of tourist service (city tours), that is to say during the stay of the tourist to the week how many times it requires the service of (city tours) for with it to analyze the Potential Demand.

The tourist transport project is feasible because there is an unsatisfied demand, and the arrival of tourists in Peru is increasing. As observed there is a growing trend since early 2000, with a tourist growth rate of 7% per year over the previous year, and bidders with a growth rate of 2.5% in relation to current supply.
